SCHOOLS

                                 Singapore International School (Hong Kong) was first established in September 1991 in Kennedy Town with an enrolment of 200 students. In 1995, the School moved to its current premises in Nam Long Shan Road, Aberdeen, serving children in the Preparatory Years and Primary Years. In 2012, the Secondary section campus was officially open at Police School Road. The two campuses are connected by a link-bridge. Presently, the school has an enrolment of approximately 1670 students of more than 20 nationalities.

Preparatory Years

Our Preparatory Years (PY) Programme is one of the most highly sought-after programmes in Hong Kong for its focus on holistic development and bilingualism. The two-year programme offers young children a balanced education catering to their physical, intellectual, moral, emotional and social development. Our Preparatory Years students progress seamlessly onto our Primary Years and thereafter Secondary Section. 

Primary Years

Uniquely Singapore-styled, our Primary Years Programme offers a 6-year broad-based education, anchored in a rigorous bilingual programme designed to ensure our students’ holistic development, in and out of the classroom, and most importantly to develop sound moral values and 21st century skills.

During these formative years, we want to build the children’s confidence and desire to learn and expose them to the different aspects of learning both in the academic and non-academic areas. By providing them a broad exposure to a range of activities, we can help them flourish in discovering their talents and interests. Most of our students continue their education at Secondary section to enjoy the through-train education experience.
