As one of Hong Kong’s first international schools, the French International School founded in 1963, has amassed in 56 years a wealth of experience. The school offers two streams: the French stream preparing students towards certification in the French national examination, the French Baccalaureate and the International Streams leading to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. In 1988, FIS became the first in Hong Kong to be authorised as an IB World School. Nowadays, FIS is one of the largest international schools in Hong Kong and welcomes over 2,700 students as a through-school from 4 to 18 years old (from Reception/Moyenne Section to Year 13/Terminale), representing over 40 different nationalities across four campuses (Happy Valley (Blue Pool Road), Jardine’s Lookout, Chai Wan et Tseung Kwan O). The school’s mission is to provide, together with families, a nurturing, culturally diverse community that inspires our young people to realize their true potential as confident, independent learners and responsible global citizens with moral values and integrity. FIS Jardine's Lookout campus welcomes students from Moyenne Section to CM1 (French Stream) and Reception to Year 6 (International Stream). FIS accepts applications all year round. When a school place becomes available, candidates is invited to an assessment test and interview. Admission priority is given to siblings of current students, nominee of corporate debenture holder and returning students. |

We assess the needs of each student individually. Where we are able to support their level of disability we work with the student and family to ensure a smooth integration into our school but we do not currently offer a dedicated programme for students with a higher degree of needs. |
