SCHOOLS

                                 Singapore International School (Hong Kong) was first established in September 1991 in Kennedy Town with an enrolment of 200 students. In 1995, the School moved to its current premises in Nam Long Shan Road, Aberdeen, serving children in the Preparatory Years and Primary Years. In 2012, the Secondary section campus was officially opened at Police School Road. The two campuses are connected by a link bridge. Presently, the school has an enrolment of approximately 1670 students of more than 20 nationalities.

Most of our primary students stay with us to complete their Secondary Education Programme and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). In Secondary 1 and Secondary 2 (S1 and S2), students follow a modified Singapore curriculum which has been adapted to the HKSAR context. In Secondary Three and Four (S3 and S4), students study towards the internationally-recognised Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum. This marks the completion of the school’s Secondary Education Programme. After the completion of their IGCSE programme, many students progress to read the IBDP certificate with a small number leaving the school for other pre-university education programmes in Hong Kong and abroad.

As a premier educational institution in Hong Kong, our students have done well in both the Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme. We have a team of dedicated University Counsellors who support and guide our students to be aware of their strengths and interests so that they develop a purpose for life and a passion for learning. Our graduates deepen their continuous learning at universities in the US, UK, Europe, Singapore, China, Hong Kong and other parts of the world.
