Special arrangement for incoming families

Conditional Acceptances can sometimes be granted for students applying for the Lower Primary Division. Once they have arrived to Hong Kong, they will be required to take the pre-entry assessment. Applicants for Grades 3 - 5 must take the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) administered by the Northwest Evaluation Association. Applicants for Grades 6 - 12 are required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) administered by the Educational Records Bureau (ERB).

Support for students with special education needs Financial assistance / scholarship Facilities for hire

HKIS provides services for students with mild special learning needs. At all divisions, teachers, parents or administrators can refer a student to the Student Review Team (SRT), a solution-focused meeting where learning strengths and challenges are considered and an action plan developed to address areas of need.

We offer an annual scholarship to local high school students who possess strong academics and demonstrate a financial need.
