Special arrangement for incoming families

HKA works closely with relocation companies, human resources offices, consulates and others to facilitate the relocation of expat families in Hong Kong. The Admissions Office devotes significant time and resources to assisting both families from abroad and the offices and organizations in Hong Kong who work with them in their transitions. For families with children with special needs, the level of engagement and support is even more significant.

Support for students with special education needs Financial assistance / scholarship Facilities for hire

HKA is an inclusive school that offers learner support services for students with a wide range of special needs. Approximately 15% of the overall student population receives some level of learner support. The school features an Occupational Therapy room, on-campus speech therapy, and other assistance. In some cases, HKA’s Learner Support programme is the deciding factor whether or not a company can relocate a family to Hong Kong.

All families contribute to a scholarship fund that provides tuition assistance to students unable to afford full tuition. In addition, HKA waives the family debenture fee for families unable to afford the debenture.
